SPARK marketplace for hosts

In the event of an accident during an active trip, SPARK will manage the initial steps as users will promptly inform us of the incident. However, it's essential to recognize that the ultimate responsibility for handling car accidents, insurance claims, and interactions with the user lies with the host.
While SPARK assists in the initial stages, hosts are expected to actively engage in managing the aftermath of accidents, ensuring that insurance claims are properly handled and addressing any user concerns..
SPARK marketplace is designed for electric vehicle owners to list their cars to our platform. SPARK clients can travel with these cars for short or long-term trips. SPARK acts as the intermediary, handling the logistics, pricing, ensuring safety, and providing support to both hosts and clients.
The platform makes it easy for electric car owners to generate extra income by sharing their vehicles, while offering more eco-friendly and convenient transportation options for our clients.
SPARK evaluates several criteria to ensure that cars listed on the marketplace meet quality standards and provide an exceptional experience. These include factors such as model, year, condition, insurance coverage, and registration status.
By adhering to these criteria, we maintain a reliable and attractive fleet of electric cars for our users.
SPARK typically reviews car submissions within 24 hours. Our team carefully evaluates each car based on eligibility criteria such as registration, condition, and insurance coverage. Once the review is complete, we will promptly inform you through both the app and email regarding the status of your car listing.
Once your car is accepted on the SPARK platform, the next step is to create your Host account. Depending on your business type, you can choose to be either an individual or a company host. We will require your Company Code or Individual activity under a business certificate number.
Once your host account is registered, we'll reach out to you again to arrange a suitable time for the installation of the telemetric device.
The telemetric device installation is a crucial step to ensure your electric car's security and functionality on the SPARK platform. Once your car is accepted, we will invite you to a designated location where our experts will professionally install the telemetric device on your behalf.
During the installation, you will have the opportunity to observe the entire process. This device enables real-time tracking of your car's location, status, and data, as well as remote operations like lock/unlock and shutting down the engine.
Tracking your earnings and revenue is easy and convenient with SPARK. Once your car is listed and travels begin, you'll have access to a dedicated dashboard within your Host account, available 24/7 via the SPARK mobile app. This dashboard provides real-time insights into your earnings, trip history and revenue generated from each trip. It's designed to keep you informed about your car's performance on the platform, making managing your electric car's income hassle-free.
You have full freedom to decide how frequently your electric car is available on the SPARK platform. You can opt for a minimum duration of 2 days, allowing clients to travel with your car for short periods. However, you also have the flexibility to schedule longer availability periods, spanning months if desired. Additionally, when your car is not in use, you can disable it temporarily for your personal needs. When you choose to enable it again, we'll kindly request updated photos to ensure your car is in the right condition for upcoming trips.
SPARK prioritizes the security of your car by including comprehensive safety features, such as advanced telemetric tracking and real-time monitoring. This enables us to track your car's location and status throughout each trip. Moreover, our robust insurance coverage provides protection against unforeseen incidents. This combination of technology and coverage ensures that your car is in safe hands and allows you to share it confidently on our platform.
The responsibility for maintaining and ensuring cleanliness lies with the host. We recommend that hosts maintain a high standard of cleanliness and perform regular maintenance on their cars. As part of this, we expect hosts to have their cars washed and cleaned at least every 14 days. However, if the car becomes dirty more frequently, we encourage hosts to clean it as needed. This dedication to upkeep helps ensure an exceptional experience for both hosts and clients on the SPARK platform.
Car charging is managed by SPARK's fleet managers, alleviating any concerns for hosts. Hosts are not obligated to charge their cars, as our team takes care of this aspect. We want to ensure a seamless experience for hosts, so please refrain from charging your cars using any RFID tags that might be left in the car.

It's important to note that free charging is not provided to hosts when their cars are disabled on the platform. Engaging in such activities would be considered fraudulent.
To enable car on the SPARK platform, hosts are required to possess insurance that covers rental risk. This insurance is crucial to ensure the safety and peace of mind of both hosts and clients. We have established partnerships with insurance providers who offer attractive rates specifically for this purpose. We'll provide you with the necessary contacts to facilitate obtaining this insurance. Before enabling your car, you must upload this insurance. Rest assured, we will conduct a thorough verification to ensure the insurance coverage is accurate and appropriate.
In the event of an accident during an active trip, SPARK will manage the initial steps as users will promptly inform us of the incident. However, it's essential to recognize that the ultimate responsibility for handling car accidents, insurance claims, and interactions with the user lies with the host. While SPARK assists in the initial stages, hosts are expected to actively engage in managing the aftermath of accidents, ensuring that insurance claims are properly handled and addressing any user concerns.
At SPARK, we take care of pricing to ensure a competitive and attractive offering for both hosts and users. Our pricing strategy is designed to reflect various factors, including market demand, car specifications, and travelling durations, and our pricing approach is aimed at maximizing your earnings while maintaining affordability for users. This way, you can focus on hosting while we handle the intricacies of pricing to provide a seamless experience for everyone.
The potential earnings can vary based on several factors. These include the duration your car is enabled on the platform, seasonal demand fluctuations, the cleanliness and maintenance of your car, and the car's specific model.
SPARK operates on a transparent commission structure. We deduct a 35% commission from each trip’s earnings. This percentage covers the costs of maintaining the platform, charging your EV, relocating your EV and ensuring an overall seamless experience for both hosts and users by continuously improving our services. The remaining earnings are transferred to the host, allowing you to benefit from your car's trips while SPARK manages the operational aspects.
At SPARK, we believe in a collaborative approach to ensure the best experience for both hosts and users. While SPARK takes care of critical aspects like EV charging, relocation, and platform maintenance, hosts play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of the service. Hosts are responsible for keeping their cars clean and well-maintained, ensuring they are free from any mechanical or electronic faults and breakdowns.
Yes, as a member of the SPARK platform, it's your responsibility to pay and declare taxes according to Lithuanian laws. Whether you're registered as an Individual or a Company host, complying with tax regulations is vital.
